PRACTICE MANAGER – PARKHURST MEDICAL CENTRE

This is a limited contract position for a period of approximately 12 months to cover parental leave

Come join our Parkhurst Medical Centre team in this rewarding Practice Manager role, where you will ensure the smooth day to day operation of our busy medical practice through:

  • Establishing good rapport with Doctors

  • Leading and developing your reception and nursing team

  • Managing the financials of the Medical Centre including end of month reports, patient billings and cash collections

  • Maintaining staff rosters

  • Providing a safe and healthy working environment

  • Managing patient records

  • Maintaining a professional and friendly work environment

 Do you have the qualities that we are looking for?

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Practice Manager

  • An understanding of business operations in the healthcare industry

  • A caring and collaborative approach to customer service

  • A sense of urgency, compassion and professionalism

  • Proven multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills

SECOND IN CHARGE – PARKHURST MEDICAL CENTRE

This is a limited contract position for a period of approximately 6 months to cover parental leave

Come join our IPN Parkhurst Medical Practice team in this rewarding Second in Charge (2IC) role, where you will assist the Practice Manager to ensure the smooth day to day operation of our busy medical centre through:

  • Managing the delivery of quality customer service to doctors, nurses and patients

  • Managing and developing the reception and nursing team, including staff rosters

  • Maintaining a safe, healthy and professional working environment

 Do you have the qualities that we are looking for?

  • Previous experience in a similar role (2IC, team leader, Supervisor, etc.)

  • Previous experience in general practice

  • A caring and collaborative approach to customer service

  • A sense of urgency, compassion and professionalism

  • Excellent leadership, organisation and management skills

  • Proven multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills

  • An understanding of business operations in the healthcare industry

  • Team orientation with excellent communication skills
