CQ Doctors is proud to have Doctor Ann Arlott as a senior GP on our team. Ann grew up in Rocky and attended North Rockhampton High School. After spending 5 years at Rockhampton Hospital and gaining significant experience in emergency medicine Dr Arlott joined CQ Doctors in 2014. In her own words- “I am committed to looking after the health of Rockhampton people for the long term.” As well as traveling extensively, Ann enjoys artistic pursuits of all kinds and pottering in the garden.

Dr. Lakshmi Chakravarthy was born and raised in Germany, where she completed her medical degree in 2007. She then moved to the UK to start her medical career as a Junior doctor in various specialties and obtained her MRCGP in 2015. Dr. Chakravarthy moved to Australia in 2019 with her husband and children.
She enjoys all areas of General Practice, but particularly paediatrics, mental health, and women’s health. Please be advised Dr. Chakravarthy doesn’t provide procedural contraception such as Mirena, Implanon, or pessaries. In her free time, she is a dance enthusiast and enjoys reading and travelling.

From Monday 31/8/20 Dr Nadim Cody will be permanently based at the Allenstown Square practice. Doctor Cody is another Rocky local who went to school at Gracemere State School and Rockhampton State High School. He then went on to do an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science at CQU and graduated with a medical degree from the University of Queensland in 2008. Nadim has maintained a strong commitment to humanitarian work overseas. Dr Katie Ilott grew up in Rockhampton, and initially trained and worked as a registered nurse at the Rockhampton Base Hospital (Paediatric Department). She then went on to study medicine at Griffith University on the Gold Coast, graduating in 2011.
Following this, Dr Ilott worked at the Gold Coast Hospital, Robina Hospital and Gold Coast University Hospital before moving back to Rockhampton in mid-2014 and commencing work in General Practice. She gained Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2016.
Dr Ilott is also a Medical Educator with JCU’s GP Training Program, and is involved with supervising and teaching general practice registrars throughout Central Queensland. Her special interests include paediatrics, preventative medicine, women’s health, mental health and medical education.
